2) 17 - 23 February 2014: Pending clan confirmation.

The purpose of a clan is to be with like minded people working together to a goal. So what needs to be there (my opinion but I would live some feedback - I learn a lot from collective thinking)

Language: People who can communicate with each other just accomplish so much more. I simply just don't know how to spell - Archers please - in all the languages out there
Timezones: Nothing is worse than being in a clan where you are clashing and the rest is sleeping and visa versa
Good leader: Ever been in a clan where the leader is never there? No planned farm/trophy hunt plans? Allows a mad as a hatter member to make life unpleasant to the rest of the members? I mean, the leader needs to lead! SuperCell, please give these guys some tools to lead better as well. (active/inactive players, better stats, calendars, warning log (three strikes your out), "parking" area to put players not included in stats for those on business trips/hospitals/exams - let your creative juices flow ) Oh, and a rate your leader option, some "leaders" should get to know the truth. Or, co-leaders?
Elders: The earn your status is important. To much emphasis on how much you must donate and you end up with mindless donations just to get the ratio's right. Good elders are people who contribute with monitoring the clan to assist a good leader. What ever the clan rules are you picked yourself to abide to. They also work with a good leader to review all layouts and raids/defenses in a clan. Help others to grow in knowledge of the game and its tricks and tactics. Elder who work for their reputation by their actions not just their donations (who can donate easier, the new guy with little camps or the oldies with maxed out camps. Who really needs those strong troops? - Okay, even I can do with some new way of thinking about this so let the ideas flow!.)
Members: Active one's, members who what to grow. Members who communicate! SuperCell, how about a status like At Work, At School, Online, Away. Just so the rest also know whats up with you? Must I kick this player? What going on? Why is he not playing???

So, what do you think. What is that recipe for a good, strong, healthy clan. I would really appreciate your constructive opinion on this.

How to obtain and retain eldership and what does it mean once you have earned it.

Donations can sometimes cause a bit of  . I asked for L200 Dragons and you gave me nothing / L0 hairdryer  So its not always possible to give what people ask for. You may not even have what they asked for to donate or sometimes people even ask for things that does not even fit inside their clan castle or cant even produce themselves  . So.....

What remains as the options?:
1) Don't donate if you don't have what they want.
2) Donate the best you have despite what they asked for.
3) Donate what you build specially for donations.

What do you guys think about this?

Who should donate what, ratios, what about leeching and such discussions
